Freshly picked green tea leaves are steamed and heated to prevent oxidation before going through the drying process. This tea is among the best natural sources of antioxidants, which protect the body from cell-damaging free radicals.
Preparation: Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 6 oz. cup. Heat fresh water until steam rises (180º F). Let tea steep for 1-2 minutes.
